Why Homemade.

In 2012 there was a scare about dog treats from China killing dogs. I immediately started figuring out how I could use some of Wicket’s (my dog’s) favorite ingredients to make treats of my own. I did a lot of research about how to make all-natural treats in accordance with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD). I started with his favorite Peanut Butter and he was hooked. I then played with cheddar cheese, fresh fruits, and vegetables.

I now offer 13 different types of treats in bags, different varieties of buckets of treats as well as individual specialty treats.

I wholeheartedly won't use any ingredients that I won’t feed my own two special boys.

FAQ.

+ Q: Do I need to refrigerate the bags of treats?

A: No, the treats are dried out in my oven. They are meant to sit in a cool, dry shelf.

+ Q: How long do the treats last?

A: They are good for a minimum of 6 months. But, your dog will devour them before the time us up.

+ Q: Do the names of the treats signify a specific breed?

A: No, they are just cute and catchy titles. No treat is breed specific.

+ Q:I have a dog that can't chew crunchy treats? What should I buy?

A: The Wheat Free Peanut Mutters or Wheat Free Sweet Shar-Potato, They break easily and require minimal chewing.

+ Q: Do you make special orders?

A: YES! I make special orders upon request. I make a few of my favorite treats and DON’T dry them out for a beautiful dog Hannah without too many teeth. She LOVES them. Mom just freezes the treats and puts a few in the fridge for easy grabbing. This keeps them from molding because they are NOT dried out like my typical treats.

+ Q: Are there preservatives in your treats?

A: No! None of my treats have preservatives in them. They are dried out so they can have a shelf life without all of the preservatives.

+ Q: Are your treats crunchy?

A: Yes, my treats are naturally crunchy and aid in cleaning your dogs treats while they eat them.
